OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR VISITORS OF EFITH
MID-SUMMER, 262ND YEAR AFTER THE INITIAL BATTLE

Capital Arena
THE PLACE IN WHICH TWO BRANCHES MEET MUST BE THE STRONGEST PART OF THE TREE
By Legislator Sarica
My friends, though you might think we aren't yet friends, I take the risk of addressing you as such, for you now live and walk among us, so although we are strangers to one another, we are neighbours, too.
We have become brothers under the Efithian sun.
My name is Sarica, I am a legislator to the Efithian Senate as well as an adviser to the Sacred Council that rules alongside it. Understand, government in Efith is a two-branch affair, on one hand we have the democratic Senate processes and on the other, the divinely sanctioned decisions made by the priests and priestesses.
The two must be combined and they must agree, for a proposal to go through.
In the same way, I expect that we - Efithians and visitors - will have to come together and work as a combined whole in order to find a way to deliver you safely home to the worlds from hence you came.
We are open and willing to make this effort, as it is not strange or new to us. The question here, I suspect - are you?
Give it serious thought.
THESE ARE TIMES IN WHICH WE CANNOT CEASE TO PERFORM OUR DUTY
By High Priestess Eni

Villa Sarica
I wish I could be the bringer of comforting news, news that we knew what has brought you to our doorsill, news of how to deliver you back home, safely, but I know neither of those things, I'm afraid. So I come to you not as the bringer of comfort, but as the bringer of much frustration, I know.
What we do know is little, but it is this: It is the performance of our elemental magic that brings you to our world. Which parts of it affect you and which elements are most vulnerable to this defect, we cannot as of yet say. And as we can't cut off our connection to our powers or simply cease to perform our duty, we have decided it must simply be so until further notice. This is a decision agreed upon by the Senate and the Sacred Council. It is not up for debate.
While you are with us, however, we wish to welcome you as our sisters and brothers in this world. Do not hesitate to ask for assistance or help, to ask questions, do not hesitate to assimilate with our ways. We welcome strangers, we believe strangers are friends we do not yet know. I will soon send out an invitation to the Temple Complex so that you can see for yourself the grand, mysterious forces that might have helped to bring you here. And how we utilize it, why we cannot simply stop.
When you see us at work, my friends, I believe you will understand. And you will forgive us our stubborn insistence in this matter.
